Who is Heyburn Informer? All Contributors are citizens raised in our city living and working in your community. As our small farm town has transformed and grown, we’ve noticed a lack of public engagement. In surveying our neighbors, it seems the lack isn’t in our community’s willingness to engage, but in a lack of ability to even know what’s going on. It has become apparent, in our digital age our local issues get lost in the noise of the world. After careful consideration, we’ve decided to try to bridge the gap between our citizens willingness to engage locally and the local happenings.

Our goal is to provide you with the information to enable you to act. We plan to be involved in everything going on in Heyburn, Idaho. We will attend City meetings. We will attend city service and engagement activities. We will do all we can to find you the answers to your questions. Then we will report what we see, hear, and learn. We don’t claim to be a live news resource, but we will bring you news about our city.
As of now, Heyburn Informer is all volunteers spending our own time and our own money, to accomplish our goal of informing Heyburn Idaho, and inspiring local engagement. We can’t do this alone! We need you! We need you to ask questions, look for answers, and give us feedback. Then we need you to step up and engage, to share information, to serve your neighbors, to join our community, and most importantly-to vote! In order to accomplish this, you can reach out to us at heyburninformer@gmail.com with questions and feedback.
